Peyton Denlinger's PAT was good and the Green Terror took a 7-0 lead.
- It was all Susquehanna after that as sophomore wide receiver Kyle Good (Altoona, Pa./Altoona Area) punched one in from nine yards out on the River Hawks' first possession of the evening, completing the eight-play, 97-yard drive after John Compere's kickoff pinned Susquehanna on its own three-yard line.
- The River Hawk defense then gave SU a 14-7 lead with 4:26 left in the quarter when Dixon forced a fumble and senior linebacker Craig Roumes (Succasunna, N.J./Roxbury) returned it 29 yards for the touchdown.
Second Quarter

Third Quarter
- Following a 28-yard connection between Ruisch and senior wide receiver Mikah Christian (Bowie, Md./Bowie) on 2nd and 5, a McDaniel personal foul tacked on another 13 yards and the River Hawks were on the Green Terror 13-yard line. Ruisch then hit senior captain Mitch Carsley (Elverson, Pa./Twin Valley) for the 13-yard score.
- Ellington's final score of the night was also the final touchdown for Susquehanna. After Ruisch completed a 13-yard pass to Good, Ellington rushed in for the one-yard score.
Fourth Quarter
- No scoring occurred in the final quarter as McDaniel turned the ball over twice on downs while the River Hawks fumbled once and then ate up the clock with a seven-play, 59-yard drive in the final 4:36 of the game, featuring a 40-yard pass between senior quarterback Eddie Shields (Chalfont, Pa./Central Bucks West) and senior tight end Anthony McCoy (Rosedale, N.Y./Long Island Lutheran) – season-longs for both – as well as a season-long 13-yard run by senior running back Torey Brown (Riviera Beach, Fla./Dwyer).
