LANCASTER, Pa. - No. 16 Swarthmore College Women's Swimming knocked off Franklin & Marshall College, Ursinus College and McDaniel College in dominating fashion to open the 2021-22 campaign on Saturday afternoon.
The Garnet defeated the Diplomats, 189-72, Bears, 187-74, and Green Terror, 218-38. Swarthmore extends its winning streak against F&M to five meets, McDaniel to seven meets and Ursinus to two meets. The young roster continues Swarthmore's undefeated conference dual meet streak with the three convincing wins. The 2019-20 season was the first undefeated conference dual meet in women's swimming program history.
Anna Lyn earned victories in the 200 and 500-free. In the 200-free, Lyn touched the wall with a time of 1:58.52 and recorded a time of 5:21.02 in the 500-free.
Mackenzie Tucker finished in third, while
Sarah Conley finished in fourth with times of 2:01.24 and 2:01.29, respectively.
Lexi Duffy earned a pair of victories in the pool for the Garnet. The sophomore won the 100 and 200-back with times of 59.88 and 2:10.16.
Sophie Rotival added a trio of wins in the 100 and 200-breast and 200 IM.
Georgi Mathews won the 1,000-free with a time of 11:07.59. Annalies Chen won the 100 and 200 fly with times of 59.41 and 2:10.60.

Ashley Wong teamed up to win the 200-medley relay with a time of 1:48.36.
The Garnet will return to the pool on Saturday as they travel to Chestertown, Md. to take on Washington College in another Centennial Conference dual meet. The meet is set to begin at 1:00 PM.
