Gettysburg posted a 29th-place finish as a team in the White Race of the 48th annual Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh. The Bullets scored 773 points.
THE LEADERS
•
Connor Elliott (Media, Pa./Salesianum School [Del.]) led the Bullets over the prestigious 8,000-meter course, clocking a time of 25:44.4 to place 23rd overall. It was the best time for a Gettysburg runner on the Lehigh course since Ben Taber's time of 25:39 in 2016 and second-best time on the course for any Bullet harrier.
FOR THE FOES
• Cortland won the team title in the 40-team race with 115 points behind race winner Ryan Cory, who turned in a time of 24:54.9.
THE REST OF THE STORY
•
Josh Judson (Arvada, Colo./Faith Christian) placed 161st overall with a time of 27:44.5, bettering his time from last week by five seconds.

Joe Zimbler (Nesconset, N.Y./Smithtown East) placed 223rd overall with a time of 28:50.9, running more than a minute faster than a week ago.
•
Dominic DiLuzio (Chadds Ford, Pa./Garnet Valley) followed Zimbler across the line with a time of 28:52.7, improving nearly 30 seconds from last week.
•
Noah Albanese (Castleton-on-Hudson, N.Y./Maple Hill) crossed 232nd overall with a time of 28:57.5.

Mick Lorenger (Alexandria, Va./Thomas Edison) finished 235th in a time of 29:03.7, knocking a half-minute off last week's mark.
•
Matthew Wagner (Downingtown, Pa./Downingtown STEM Academy) was 282nd overall with a time of 30:36.5 in his first collegiate race.
•
Aidan Martin (Middleburgh, N.Y./Middleburgh) rounded out the Gettysburg competitors in 308th place with a time of 32:30.2.

• A total of 338 runners completed the 8,000-meter distance.
