LITTLE EGG HARBOR, NJ. -- Over the weekend, the Cabrini University women's golf team finished third at the Stockton Spring Invitational at the LBI National Golf Club.
Ashley Ea led the way for the Cavaliers as she finished fourth overall with an 89. Her 47 on the front nine was tied for fourth but Ea hit her stride on the back nine as she put up the second best score of anyone on the day with a 42.
Daly Ewing and
Kylie Ennis finished 12th and 13th overall, respectively as Ewing shot a 111 while Ennis was only two strokes behind with a 113. On the back nine, the duo each shot a 53 as Ewing improved by five strokes while Ennis improved by seven strokes.
Sara Hussey finished 14th overall and also improved by one stroke on the back nine.
On the day, the Cavs improved their front nine scores by a total of 18 strokes on the back nine.
The Cavaliers return to the links on Friday, April 7 as Cabrini heads to Flanders, N.J. to compete in the Garden State Collegiate Classic. First tee time is set for noon.
