CAMDEN, N.J. - Making a quick excursion from Centennial Conference play, the Haverford College men's soccer team (2-6-4) played to a scoreless draw at Rutgers-Camden (6-5-3) on Wednesday evening in the Garden State.

Haverford held a 10-8 advantage in shots, putting four of those attempts on frame, while Dylan Ioffreda made a pair of saves in his second consecutive shutout. Rutgers-Camden had a slight 3-2 edge in corners on the evening, but the Fords did well to fend off the Raptors in the attacking third.

The Fords put their first shot attempt on frame in the 15th minute as Paul-Andre Coulibaly sent in a strike that Raptors goalkeeper Sean Boen saved. Luca Mello then fired wide on the next shot attempt for either side in the 30th minute. Liam O'Malley also notched a shot attempt in the 35th minute for the visitors, wrapping up a scoreless first 45 minutes of action.

In the second half, Tomas Ascoli opened the stretch with a shot that sailed wide, and Coulibaly had another solid look blocked in the 63rd minute. Alex Millones recorded a shot on goal in the 79th minute, and Ascoli also notched another attempt on frame in the 88th minute of play for Haverford. Rutgers-Camden had just two shots in the second half as Haverford dominated possession down the stretch.

With the final game of the non-conference slate now in the rearview mirror, Haverford now returns to action on Saturday for the first of five Centennial Conference games to wrap up the regular season as action continues in October. That stretch begins with Haverford heading to Collegeville for a Centennial Conference matchup with Ursinus. The kickoff is slated for 12 p.m.
