Women’s Swimming Continues Centennial Dominance at Bryn Mawr

BRYN MAWR, Pa. - The Swarthmore College women's swimming team remained unbeaten in the Centennial Conference with a dominant 160-44 win over Bryn Mawr College on Friday night.

The Garnet dominated as they won every event and swept the top-three spots in five of nine individual events. Maddie Adams-Miller led the way with a pair of individual wins.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Lauren Rohde won the 1000 freestyle with a time of 11:04.77, while Vivian Guo followed in a close second place at 11:06.58.

- Adams-Miller claimed first in the 200 freestyle with a 1:58.03 mark. Lexi Duffy was second in the event at 1:59.48. Adams-Miller also finished first overall in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:22.02. Guo and Georgi Mathews rounded out the top-three finishers in the event.

- Ashley Wong was first in the 50 freestyle with a time of 25.62. Sophie Rodner and Kaja Arusha finished second and third, respectively, to claim the top three finishes for Swarthmore.

- Gaby Ma led the Garnet with a 1:00.04 mark in the 100 IM. Cara Lee and Annabella Boardman were second and third, respectively, to sweep the top-three finishes.

- Duffy won the 100 butterfly in 1:00.54. Sophia Caceres and Sophie Rodner followed with second and third place efforts.

- The Garnet continued their domination with the top-three spots in the 100 freestyle. Lee claimed the top spot at 54:57, while Sophie Rotival and Annabella Boardman were second and third, respectively.

- Arusha won the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:04.32, while Sophie Rotival took first in the 100 breaststroke at 1:07.71.
