• The Short Story: Justin Canedy and Matthew Su sit one and four after day one of the decathlon at the Mount Multis. Canedy currently tops the leader board with 3,818 points while Su is in fourth with 2,321 points after five events.

Johns Hopkins Winners:
• Justin Canedy: 100-meter dash (10.94), 400-meter dash (50.62), high jump (2.00m), long jump (6.91m).

Other Meet Highlights:
• Canedy took control of the decathlon early as he won four events on the day and registered a fourth-place finish in the shot put with a throw of 11.28m. He currently sits in first place with 3,818 points and holds a 1,058 point lead over second-place.
• Matthew Su also had a solid day in the event, registering a second-place finish in the 100-meter dash (11.37), a fourth-place finish in the high jump (1.70m), a third-place finish in the long jump (6.51m) and a sixth-place finish in the shot put (10.28m).
