ALLENTOWN, PA. – Sophomores
Kaylin Chen and
Elliot Schott of the Ursinus College women's golf team each competed at the Muhlenberg Invitational on Monday afternoon.
The Bears had two members competing at the Lehigh Country Club, a par-70 course that stretches over 5,702 yards. Alvernia won the team title with a total tally of 317 (+37), while Jefferson (379) and Lebanon Valley (418) rounded out the top three of the twelve teams participating.
Chen earned a 13
th place finish after totaling a 96 (+26) and Schott turned in a tally of 115 (+45) for a 31
st place finish. Alvernia's Katie Lapinsky won the Invitational with a final score of 71 (+1).
The Bears will return to action on Tuesday, October 18
th as they travel to Limerick, Pennsylvania for the Turtle Creek Intercollegiate Invitational.
