CHESTER, Pa. - The Swarthmore College men's track & field team returned to action on the opening night of the Danny Curran Invitational on Friday night.
HOW IT HAPPENED

Bastiaan Phair represented the Garnet in the shot put and discus throw. Phair placed 12th overall with a top throw of 11.61m in the shot put, while recording a top mark of 28.57m in the discus throw.

Jonah Covitz earned a top-10 finish with a ninth place effort in the triple jump. The senior fell just short of his outdoor personal best with a top distance of 12.01m.
Lukas Irwin also competed in the event as he placed 13th overall with a mark of 11.42m.

Andrew Cheng and
Rowan Orlijan-Rhyme both competed in the 5K run. Cheng led the Garnet with a time of 16:14.05, while Orlijan-Rhyme followed with a 16:18.47 mark.
