Meet Highlights

Annie Gutierrez put together an outstanding weekend at the George Mason Patriot Games, breaking the school record in the Pole Vault with a vault of 3.71m. Gutierrez was the first woman in Hopkins history to clear the 12-foot mark. The junior paced an outstanding field in the Pentathlon as well, posting a career-best score of 3,289 points. Gutierrez ranks in the top-10 nationally in both events and should safely qualify for NCAA's in both.

Marissa Hsu posted three sub-eight second runs in the 60-Meter Dash, placing seventh in the event. Hsu's times are tops in the Centennial Conference this season.
• It was a successful day for Johns Hopkins in the 5,000-meter, getting two top-10 national times from
Rebecca Grusby and
Felicia Koerner. Grusby placed fourth with a time of 17:25.08 while Koerner ran a 17:34.11 to grab sixth-place.
Alex Ross set a new PR in the 5,000, running a 17:50.05

Veronica Montane posted a career-best Long Jump of 5.22m, placing her fourth in the event, just .01 meters behind third-place.
• Gutierrez wasn't the only Blue Jay to break the previous school-record in the Pole Vault.
Sophia Cortazzo executed a vault of 3.56m to place seventh at the event.
• At Bucknell, eight different Blue Jays posted times under 28 seconds, led by a 27.17 from freshman
Helena Hall-Thomsen.
Callie Jones ran a strong time in the Mile, posting a 5:18.40.
Anna Stouffer ran a 3:07.41 in the 800 at the event.

• The Blue Jays will head to New York for the NYU Division III Invitational this weekend. The event is set to begin at 1 p.m. on Friday.
