ITHACA, NY – The Cabrini women's golf team headed north this weekend to compete in the Cortaca Northeast Invitational.

The Cavaliers completed today's opening round in ninth place after posting a team score of 387 at the par 72 RaNic Golf Club.

The Blue and White was led by senior Vic Monterosso and freshman Ashley Ea, who shot matching rounds of 85 to tie for 10th.

Senior Kelly Cahill's 102 was good of a tie for 50th, while classmate Marisa Linsky closed the day in 55th after shooting 115, one place ahead of freshman Kylie Ennis who shot 133.

Hamilton posted a team score of 317 to build a 10 stroke lead over Ithaca and Westminster. Hamilton's Emily Moy and Olivia Strigh sit atop the individual leaderboard with Westminster's Erica Hoover after posting opening rounds of 77.

The Cavaliers will look to climb the leader board during Sunday's second round to be played at Cortland Country Club. Tee time is set for 10am.
