CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Senior
Sarah Rinehart (Eldersburg, Md./Liberty) came in 82nd out of 341 runners and the Gettysburg College women's cross country team came in 22nd out of 47 teams at the NCAA Division III Mideast Regional on Saturday at DeSales University.
It was the final meet of the season for the Bullets, who finished with a team score of 660.
Rinehart raced to a time of 25:00 for the 6,000-meter course. She was followed by fellow classmate
Colleen Campbell (Erie, Pa./Collegiate Academy), who came in 103rd in 25:21 while freshman
Ashlyn Booher (Boiling Springs, Pa./Boiling Springs) and freshman
Kathrin O'Brien (Lynchburg, Va./Virgina Episcopal School) finished 145th (25:55) and 168th (26:23), respectively.
Rounding out the team score was freshman
Amy Milner (Ithaca, N.Y./Ithaca), who came in 175th in 26:30. Finishing as displacers were seniors
Madison Fox (Akron, Pa./Ephrata), who finished 218th in 27:37, and
Danielle DeMichael (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks East), who came in 227th in 27:50.
Top ranked Johns Hopkins University, led by race winner Felicia Koerner (22:32), captured the team title with 36 points while sixth-ranked Dickinson College was second with 79 points.
