BALTIMORE, Md. - Led by senior Bailey Mullen who finished 30th, the McDaniel College women's cross country team placed fifth at the Baltimore Metro Meet hosted by Goucher Thursday.

The Green Terror tallied 185 points to finish behind Johns Hopkins, Maryland, Elizabethtown and Susquehanna.

Mullen crossed the line in a time of 20:32.70 while sophomore Meghan O'Neil finished 45th in 22:01.2. Freshman Piper Nagaraj took 59th with a time of 23:08.1, followed by freshman Anna Kale (23:08.1) and sophomore Ashley Siebenhaar (24:13.4).

Nagaraj and Kale were two of four freshman to make their collegiate debuts Thursday as they were joined by Arianna Lowengrub and Katie Morgan.

McDaniel returns to action on Friday, Sept. 16 at the Charger Invite hosted by Lancaster Bible.
