Meet Highlights
• The Blue Jays placed three runners in the top-10 of the 400-meter dash, led by freshman
Helena Hall-Thomsen who posted a time of 59.53. Not far behind her was
Alexandra Damron with a time of 59.94, making them the first two Blue Jays to break the minute mark in the 2020 season.
Ashley Tyburski grabbed 10th-place in the event at 1:00.26, her best time of the season.
• Johns Hopkins packed up in the Mile, placing five of the top-seven runners.
Felicia Koerner led the group with a time of 5:00.63, the second fastest mile time for the Blue Jays this season.

Callie Jones (5:12.49) and
Anna Stouffer (5:12.98) made up spots three through seven.
• After matching her career-best time in preliminaries,
Annie Gutierrez placed third in the 60 Hurdles with a time of 9.21. Continuing her slew of accomplishments and accolades, the back-to-back Centennial Conference Field Athlete of the Week set a new school-record in the pole vault for the second straight week. After setting it at 3.71m last week, Gutierrez won the event with a 3.74m vault.

Marissa Hsu has wasted no time making an impact as the freshman continues to post strong times in the 60-meter. Hsu finished second with a time of 8.01 seconds after qualifying with a 7.88 second run. Hsu also broke her own freshman record in the long jump with a 5.26m leap, beating her old mark by .01.

Ella Baran broke the meet record in the 3,000-meter, running the second-fastest time by a Blue Jay this season to win the race with a 9:56.17 time. Baran finished over 37 seconds ahead of the next best finisher.

Chinaza Nwankpa and Hall-Thomsen ran the two-fastest 200-meter times so far this season, as Nwankpa ran a 26.62 with Hall-Thomsen just behind at 26.71
• The Blue Jay DMR won by more than seven seconds, posting a time of 12:35.37. Koerner,
Dana Andrews, Jones and
Alex Ross made up the team.

Cherease Lamm placed third in the Triple Jump at 10.81m and finished fifth in the Long Jump with a 5.13m leap.
