LITITZ, Pa. - The Dickinson men's golf team went back to work on Monday afternoon at the Franklin & Marshall College Spring Invitational at Bent Creek Country Club. On the whole the Red and White had a solid afternoon as their "A" team claimed second, while the "B" squad grabbed seventh in the 13-team field.
The Devils "A" team was paced by the duo of
Collin McMahon-Shea and
Luke Vance as they both carded one-over 72's on the 6660-yard, par 71 course.
Carl Williams was also under the 80 threshold as he came in with a 78, while
Peter Lown joined him on that same number.
Brandon Wilson rounded out the five-person team by firing a 79.
Jackson Guy led the "B" squad by posting an 83, followed two strokes back by the pair of
Will Giguere and
Jack Poitras on 85.
Will Carkhuff completed the scoring Devils on the day with a 98.
Team Scores
For the second consecutive tournament the Red and White were edged out by four strokes as the host Franklin & Marshall came in with a combined 296, while DC posted 300. The rest of the Top-5 was comprised of another Franklin & Marshall group at 301, Goucher College (308) and Moravian College (311).

Dickinson will have one more tune-up before next weekend's conference tournament when they head to the two-day Gettysburg College Invitational at Penn National Golf Course in Fayetteville, Pennsylvania on Saturday and Sunday.
