Proctor Sets Conference Record at Mini-Dip Invitational

LANCASTER, Pa. - The McDaniel Men's indoor track team traveled to Franklin & Marshall College for the Mini-Dip Invitational. The men totaled one Centennial Conference Record, three program records, and four event winners.

Junior Tyren Proctor set the all-time Centennial Conference record and broke his own McDaniel program record in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 8.32 as he edged out the previous record of 8.33 set in 2015 by Haverford's Jeff Ainsley. Proctor would also place eighth in the 60 meter dash with a time of 7.23.

Sophomore Oral-Anthony Coleman broke the program record in the 60 meter dash with a time of 7.04 finishing in 3rd place. He beat the record previously held by Kevin Monroe who had a time of 7.09 in 2020. Coleman also won the long jump with a jump of 6.32m, improving on his mark ranking him seventh for the program all-time list. He finished off his day by winning the 200 meter dash with a time of 23.00.

Senior Nick Razze set the program record in the 600 meter dash with a time of 1:25.66 placing fourth in the meet. Razze beats the record set in 2017 by Alex Panagokas who ran a time of 1:27.33. Freshman Jack Reiser ran a time of 1:25.78 finishing second, also beating the previous record placing him second all-time. Anthony Razze finished 10th with a time of 1:27.81, this will make him fifth all-time for the program in the event. Junior Braden Fink finished with a time of 1:30.38 placing 14th. Fink will also jump onto the program record list as he sits ninth now.

Sophomore Anders Madsen took the win in the mile with a time of 4:25.92. This moved Madsen up to 4th all time for the program.

Junior Nick Raumann ran a time of 16:00.04 in the 5000 meter run finishing fourth place. This mark will move Raumann to 5th all-time for the program in this event. Freshman Sebby Breton followed in fifth-place running 16:19.62. Breton will now sit at seventh all-time for the program. Senior Wyatt Farace rounded out the trio with a time of 16:22.40 finishing sixth. Farace will also move up on the program record list to eighth place. All three runners in the 5000 hit the qualifying standard for the Centennial Conference Championships.

In the weight throw senior Collin Wainwright finished seventh with a distance of 13.44m, as he continues to close into the program record for the second straight week. Sophomore Jacob Graham finished 23rd with a throw of 11.34m. Junior Jake Conklin threw 10.88m finishing 25th, this mark moves Conklin to eighth all-time for the program. Freshman AJ Iglesias moves up to 10th all-time for the program with a throw of 10.85m and finishing 26th

The 4x400 meter relay team of Alex Huffer, Anders Madsen, Anthony Razze, and Nick Razze finished second-place with a time of 3:27.72. This marks the third fastest 4x400 in the programs history.

In the 300 meter dash Nick Razze would finish fifth with a time of 37.51, this moves him to sixth all-time for the program. Junior Kyle Hubbard would finish eighth with a time of 37.93. Hubbard would also place 10th in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 9.32.

Sophomore Jeremiah Maxwell placed 11th in the 60 meter dash with a time of 7.29. This places Maxwell ninth all-time for the program, and will qualify him for the Centennial Conference Championships. Maxwell would also finish second in the 200 meter dash with a time of 23.43.

Freshman Christian Homer placed fifth in long jump with a jump of 5.95m. Homer also placed fifth in triple jump with a jump of 12.56m, this mark moving him to 10th all-time for the program. Junior John Geniti placed fourth in pole vault with a jump of 3.95m. In shot put junior Chett Brunner came in 5th with a throw of 13.73m. Jake Conklin will finish 21st with a throw of 11.55m.

The next meet will be the Richard Drake Invitational and will take place at the Virginia Beach Sports Complex on Sunday February 5th.
