CARLISLE, PA – The Cabrini women's golf team returned to the link after a nearly two week break for competition to score a fifth place finish at the Dickinson College Fall Invitational, where it faced three other members of the Centennial Conference.
The Blue and White posted a team score of 429 on the par 72, 5,827 yard Carlisle Barracks Golf Course.
Sophomore
Vic Monterosso led the Cavaliers with a round of 84, just two strokes off her program record, finishing tied for sixth.
Senor
Caitlin Bullock's round of 107 was good for 22, three spots north of sophomore
Gia Marrollo, who shot a 117. Junior
Abigail Fricke placed 26th after today's round of 121.
Stevenson ran away with the team title with a team score of 317, 27 strokes better than Gettysburg.
Stevenson's Casey Oppenheimer led the Mustangs with an even par 72, scoring an eight stroke victory over Gettysburg's Hannah Fireman.
Cabrini will return to action on Wednesday, when it tees off at the Eastern University Fall Invitational. The event will get underway at 12:30pm at St. Davids Golf Club.
