With seniors combining for 50 of its 53 offensive points, the Muhlenberg volleyball team closed out its 2019 season with a 3-0 sweep of Washington College.

Back-to-back aces by senior Madison Forrest capped the 25-18, 25-22, 25-15 sweep and sent the five-member senior class out on a positive note and with their 75th win together.

Senior Maggie Enestvedt closed her career with a big double-double of 15 kills and 16 digs. Fellow seniors Laura Boll and Tara Register knocked down 9 kills apiece, and senior Gabrielle Neuman set a career high of 37 assists in her final match.

The Mules (11-14, 4-6) went on a 7-0 run with Boll serving to break open a close first set. The second set was the closest, with the Shorewomen (7-18, 1-9) holding a 22-21 lead before Muhlenberg ran off the last four points. Kills by Boll and Enestvedt, combined with two Washington errors, gave the Mules the comeback win and a 2-0 lead.

Enestvedt had five kills in the third set to finish her career with 1,109, good for sixth in program history.

Junior Maya Illovsky recorded 15 digs and will begin her senior season in a tie for eighth place on the Mules' all-time list with 1,227 for her career.
