LANCASTER, Pa.--Swarthmore College Baseball junior Jackson Roberts batted .381 with four home runs in five games last week, resulting in Centennial Conference Player of the Week honors.

Roberts tied a Centennial single-game record with three homers on Tuesday versus Ursinus College.

Over the course of the week, he had seven RBIs, six runs scored and a 1.387 OPS.

LANCASTER, PA – Senior captain Nick Burns of the Johns Hopkins baseball has been named the Centennial Conference Pitcher of the Week after throwing a complete game shutout against Ursinus on Saturday the league office announced today. 

Burns went the full nine in game two allowing just two hits and two walks in the Blue Jays’ 5-0 victory. He struck out nine in the first complete game shutout of his career. The lefty also had one relief appearance during the week in which he struck out the only batter he faced. 

For the season Burns sports a 4-1 record with an ERA of 2.29 which is third best in the conference. His 36 strikeouts on the season are tied for second on the team.
