Bridge hit safely in 19-of-28 plate appearances in six games in Florida this past week, recording a .679 batting average. He had six hits in Swarthmore's 22-6 win over SUNY Canton, tying 10 other Centennial Conference players for the single-game hits record. Bridge registered nine RBIs, nine runs scored, three doubles and a stolen base as the Garnet went 5-1 during the week. He only struck out once in his 28 at bats. Bridge has a hit in each of Swarthmore's first 10 games this season, and his.565 batting average is 100 points higher than any other Centennial Conference player with at least 30 at bats.

Lake pitched a complete-game shutout in Swarthmore's 12-0 rout of Ohio Wesleyan. In his nine innings of work, Lake struck out 10 and allowed just two hits while walking one.
