Fiorentino was on fire in a 3-0 week for Ursinus, going 6-for-9 (.667) with two homers, a double, a triple, and seven RBIs. The junior scored six runs and posted an OPS of 2.400.  Fiorentino reached 100 career hits in a doubleheader sweep of CCNY, hitting two homers and driving in six runs in the nightcap and matching the single-season school record with his seventh triple.

Smith allowed just three hits, struck out 12 batters and did not allow a run in two appearances and 7 1/3 innings of work last week. In a complete game 1-0 victory over Penn College of Technology on Saturday, he fanned a career-best 12 hitters and scattered just three hits and a walk as he retired the first 15 hitters he faced. He struck out at least one batter in every inning and fanned two Penn College hitters in five of the seven frames. On Tuesday versus Lancaster Bible, he got the Shoremen out of a bases loaded situation on a fielder's choice to keep the score tied at 1-1 in a game Washington would go on to win 6-2.
