Cappadona went 3-for-7 and drove in five runs from the leadoff spot in the Mules' season-opening sweep of Emerson. He hit a game-winning two-run homer - the first of his career - in the bottom of the sixth of the first game and had two hits, including a double, in one inning in the nightcap.

Hejka appeared in three of the four Blue Jay games this week, picking up a win against Gwynedd Mercy and a save against Rutgers-Camden. The senior pitched 4.1 innings against Gwynedd Mercy and allowed just three hits and did not surrender a run while striking out four batters. Against Rutgers-Camden, Hejka recorded a two-inning save allowing no hits, walks or runs while striking out three. He pitched two more innings against Cortland and added one more strikeout. For the week the right-hander pitched 8.1 innings, allowing just two runs and six hits while striking out eight. He did not allow a walk in his 8.1 innings of work this week as the Blue Jays went 4-0 during the week.
