Top seeds Johns Hopkins and Franklin & Marshall each notched Centennial Conference Tournament opening-round victories on their home fields on Thursday afternoon. Top-seeded Hopkins downed fourth-seeded Muhlenberg 14-4, while second-seeded F&M blanked third-seeded Haverford 2-0.
The double-elimination championship continues Saturday in Baltimore, Md. Haverford and Muhlenberg will open the action with an elimination game at 9 a.m., followed by JHU and F&M in the winner's bracket at 12:30 p.m.
