Szczesny hit .667 (12-for-18) with nine runs, a double, two home runs, and seven RBIs in four games last week. He slugged 1.056 thanks to his first two home runs of the season in a doubleheader against Northwestern in which he went 8-for-10 with four runs and six RBIs. The junior third baseman tallied two more hits in wins over Dominican and Marymount, adding three runs scored and an RBI in the latter outing.
 
Pitcher of the Week

Jenkins struck out eight in just four innings of work last week, and did not allow a hit. Against Hiram, he twirled a scoreless inning with two strikeouts. Jenkins later picked up an-extra innings win against Defiance, helping the Fords get back to the bats with five strikeouts in just 2.2 innings, and followed that performance with a save against Plymouth State in the Florida finale, striking out the only batter he faced. In his four innings of work across three appearances, the senior southpaw tallied a win and a save with eight strikeouts, three walks and no hits allowed.
