Franklin & Marshall's Dan Marano was named the Centennial Conference (CC) Player of the Week for baseball, announced by the league office on Monday. The honor is the first this season for a member of the Diplomats and the second of Marano's career.

Marano (Maple Shade, N.J. / Bishop Eustace) was unstoppable at the plate in F&M's season-opening doubleheader against Guilford on Saturday, going a combined 8-for-10 with two home runs, three RBIs, three runs scored, and a stolen base.

The senior first baseman totaled a .800/.800/1.500 slash line, as well as a 2.300 OPS through two games.
