LANCASTER, Pa. -- Muhlenberg's Frankie Feaster and Nate Milne repeated as top award winners while the Mules' Michael Hnatkowsky and Franklin & Marshall's Kevonte Beard also collected major honors to lead the 2019 All-Centennial Conference Football Team.
Feaster, a senior defensive end, becomes just the second player in Centennial history to repeat as Defensive Player of the Year, joining former Dickinson standout Eric Dube (2006-07) in that elite club. Feaster's name has been littered across the stat sheet all season long for the Mules, compiling CC-leading totals of 11.5 sacks, 20 tackles for loss and four blocked kicks while also notching 5.1 tackles per game and four pass breakups throughout the regular season.
Hnatkowsky was selected as the Offensive Player of the Year after throwing for 34 touchdowns against just three interceptions with an average of 263.4 passing yards per game. He led the CC in total touchdowns (37), 12 more than the next-closest player. The junior QB also posted a conference-best completion rate of 69.9%. Hnatkowsky is the sixth Muhlenberg player to earn Offensive Player of the Year honors.
Milne earned Coach of the Year honors for the second straight season after leading the Mules to a perfect 10-0 overall regular season record, a 9-0 mark in Centennial play, and the Mules' 11th overall and first outright conference crown since 2008. Since the award was instituted in 2008, Milne is the fourth coach to win Coach of the Year honors multiple times.
F&M's Beard is the first Diplomat to be named Rookie of the Year in the eight-year history of the award. The freshman linebacker totaled 44 tackles, two sacks, five tackles for loss, one pass breakup and one blocked kick throughout the regular season of his freshman campaign.
Five players were unanimous All-Centennial first team honorees - Feaster, Muhlenberg offensive lineman Ryan Malarkey, Muhlenberg tight end Ryan Curtiss, Susquehanna defensive back Danial Shelton, and Johns Hopkins wide receiver Harrison Wellmann.
A total of 38 players on the All-CC squad were repeat all-stars, headlined by Susquehanna's Shelton, who became a four-time all-conference performer, including the past three seasons as a first-teamer.
Shelton, Curtiss, Johns Hopkins offensive lineman Joe Figueroa and Franklin & Marshall offensive lineman Brian Denoncour become the 48th, 49th, 50th, and 51st players in the 37-year history of the conference to earn first team All-Centennial honors three times.
Johns Hopkins has the most first-team All-CC selections in conference history with 176, followed by Muhlenberg with 167. Franklin & Marshall is third with 142, followed by Dickinson (120), McDaniel (88), Ursinus (88), Gettysburg (76), Susquehanna (30), Moravian (22) and Juniata (8).
