ABOUT THE CENTENNIAL-MAC BOWL SERIES
The Centennial Conference and the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) announced on Nov. 5, 2015 their partnership to hold two postseason football games between member institutions known as the Centennial-MAC Bowl Series. In the spring of 2018, the two conferences voted and approved an additional bowl game to increase the series to three games beginning in the fall of 2018. The Centennial-MAC Bowl Series is comprised of the top-three teams from each conference that are not selected to the NCAA Division III Championship.

In Selinsgrove, Pa., CC top seed Susquehanna cruised to an 88-24 triumph over visiting Wilkes, the No. 2 seed from the MAC. Da'Avian Ellington put together a career day for the River Hawks, totaling six touchdowns and 175 yards rushing. Michael Ruisch threw for four TDs in the victory, as Susquehanna totaled 555 yards of total offense and 13 touchdowns in the landslide win.

Ellington was honored as the game MVP.

In Owings Mills, Md., Johns Hopkins freshman running back Danny Wolf tied the Johns Hopkins record for rushing touchdowns in a game (4) and the visiting Blue Jays jumped to an early 17-point lead and never let host Stevenson get closer than two scores in cruising to a 51-28 win in the Centennial-MAC Bowl Series Saturday afternoon.  The meeting was the first-ever between the two schools.

With the win, the Blue Jays end the season at 8-3, while the Mustangs had a seven-game winning streak snapped and also end the year at 8-3.  This is the 12th consecutive season that Johns Hopkins has won at least eight games in a season.

Johns Hopkins senior quarterback David Tammaro was named the game's most valuable player as he was 22-of-33 for 282 yards and three touchdowns and also rushed for a career-high 101 yards on 11 carries.

In Dallas, Pa., Franklin & Marshall picked up its third consecutive MAC-CC Bowl Title with a convincing 31-13 win over Misericordia Saturday afternoon. The Diplomats end the year with a 7-4 mark, while the Cougars fall to 5-5.

Junior quarterback Garrett Perschy was named the Most Valuable Player at the conclusion of the game.
