Centennial Conference Football Players of the Week

September 12

Offensive Player of the Week
Ryan Stevens, Jr., QB, Johns Hopkins
Santa Clarita, Calif. | Chaminade
Stevens repeated as Offensive Player of the Week after leading Johns Hopkins to a 49-21 win over Ursinus as he was 22-of-25 (.880) for 364 yards and six touchdown passes. HIs six TDs were one shy of the Centennial Conference and JHU single-game records and he set a school record for passing yards in a quarter with 197 in a 35-point second-quarter outburst for the Blue Jays. It marked just the eighth time in conference history that a quarterback has thrown for six or more TDs in a single game.

Defensive Player of the Week
Noah Breidinger, Sr., LB, Moravian
Emmaus, Pa. | Emmaus
Breidinger led the Moravian defense with 14 tackles, and he added two tackles for loss and a forced fumble in the Greyhounds' 16-13 overtime win at Gettysburg to begin the 2021 Centennial Conference season. Trailing 10-0 at the half, Breidinger and the Moravian defense held the Bullets scoreless in the second half en route to the OT victory.

Special Teams Player of the Week
Barry Amos, So., DB, McDaniel
Baltimore, Md. | Baltimore Polytechnic Institute
Amos had a 58-yard return for a touchdown off a botched snap on a field-goal attempt by Juniata at the end of their first possession to set the tone for McDaniel in a 27-9 conference-opening win.
