Corvi & Titus, Players of the Week, 10/8/19

Centennial Conference Field Hockey Players of the Week

Sept. 30 - Oct. 6

Offensive Player of the Week
Michaela Corvi, Jr., F, Johns Hopkins
Newburyport, Mass. | Phillips Exeter
Corvi's late-game heroics lifted Johns Hopkins to a come-from-behind win at Haverford on Saturday, as she tallied both of the Blue Jays' goals in the final 2:12 minutes of play. She scored her first goal to tie the game with 2:12 left, before delivering the game-winner with just six seconds remaining in regulation off a Blue Jay corner.

Maggie Titus, So., GK, Bryn Mawr
Oxford, N.J. | Warren Hills
Titus had a superb outing in the cage for the Owls in their first-ever victory over Gettysburg on Saturday. The sophomore made 10 saves, registered a save percentage of .833%, and and almost singlehandedly kept Bryn Mawr in the game at times against the Bullets. In the overtime periods, Titus made no less than three one-on-one saves to keep the Bullets from getting a winner. Her tremendous performance ultimately helped the Owls claim the historic 3-2 (2OT) win.
