For the fourth straight season, Swarthmore will host the Centennial Conference men's basketball final four. The Garnet (25-0, 18-0 CC) enter the Centennial tournament as the only remaining undefeated team in Division III.
Swarthmore defeated McDaniel 79-42 to become just the fifth team in CC history and second since the conference moved to an 18-game regular season to post an unblemished mark against Centennial opponents. The Garnet will take on the winner of Tuesday's 4/5 matchup in Friday's semifinals at Tarble Pavilion.
Johns Hopkins (22-3, 16-2 CC) earned the No. 2 seed for the third straight season. The Blue Jays will face third-seeded Haverford (16-9, 11-7 CC) in Friday's first semifinal.
Muhlenberg (18-7, 11-7 CC) had already locked up the No. 4 seed entering Saturday's regular season finale. The Mules will host fifth-seeded Washington College (10-15, 8-10 CC) in Tuesday's opening-round game in Allentown. Aided by Ursinus' loss at Franklin & Marshall, the Shoremen edged Dickinson 59-57 to grab the final playoff spot.
