He scored 29 points at Dickinson, including the game-tying three-pointer with 38.6 seconds left in regulation, and assisted on the game-winning basket with 3.0 seconds left in overtime. At 14th-ranked Johns Hopkins, he led Muhlenberg back from a 21-point deficit by scoring 17 of his 28 points in the second half. Gaines also shot 66.7% from three-point range and 92.9% from the line for the week.
