Hopkins & Swarthmore Ready to Dance; Garnet Earn Hosting Rights

Centennial Conference champion Johns Hopkins and runner-up Swarthmore are both headed to the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament beginning this weekend. The Garnet were selected as a host of a four-team pod, while the Blue Jays will head to Stockton, N.J. 

Swarthmore (22-5), which earned an at-large bid into the tournament, will host Keene State (20-6) on Friday at 5:35 p.m. Oswego State (25-2) will take on Hood (20-6) in the opener at 3:05 p.m. at Tarble Pavilion. Swarthmore is making its fifth straight and fifth overall NCAA appearance, and this will also mark the fifth year in a row that the Garnet have hosted an NCAA game. 

Johns Hopkins (22-3) earned the CC's automatic bid to the dance and will take on Yeshiva (25-3) on Friday at 1 p.m. at Stockton University in New Jersey. Stockton (24-4) will face Wilson (18-7) in Friday's other first round tilt. The Blue Jays are making their 14th trip to the NCAA Tournament, including their third in four full seasons under head coach Josh Loeffler.
