Preseason Poll Projection: 3rd (24th nationally by NSCAA)
Outlook: The Red Devils advanced to the Centennial final a year ago, but need to replace three 1st team All-CC players to make a return trip. Sheppard and Hylton-Dei are experienced forwards, while Pitkow and Latshaw will lead the midfield. Palcan took over the starting role in goal late in the season and welcomes back Carneal, Wagner and Thames on the back line. Dickinson should be in the playoff hunt once again.

David Rosenfeld

Franklin & Marshall (17-4-2 last season, 5-3-1 CC, 2013 Centennial champions: defeated Dickinson in final, 2-1 (OT); eliminated by Messiah in NCAA quarterfinal)
Head Coach: Dan Wagner (Messiah '96), 13th season
Team Page | Roster | Schedule | 2013 Statistics | Season Preview (8/28)
All-Time Record: 540-476-97 since 1926
Centennial Titles: 1 (2013)

Key Returnees: David Rosenfeld, B, 0-0-0, 1st team All-CC, 2013 Player of the Year; Chris Scott, Sr, B, 1-3-5, 1st team All-CC; Chase TenBrook, Jr, M, 5-2-12; Max Watson, Sr, M, 1-0-2; Jeremy Levine, Soph, B, 0-1-1; Sam Lane, Sr, M, 2-5-9; Jared Bomba, Sr, F, 2-3-7; Devon Malfitano, Jr, M, 3-0-6
Key Losses: Ben Beaver, F, 15-2-32, 1st team All-CC; T.J. White, GK, 81.0 save%, 0.69 GAA, 11 ShO, 1st team All-CC; Ryan O'Connell, D, 1-4-6; Zach Fried, M, 2-0-4.
Preseason Poll Projection: 1st (10th nationally by NSCAA)
Outlook: The Diplomats won their first-ever Centennial title a year ago and reached the NCAA Elite Eight. The challenge for F&M will be finding a replacement for Beaver, its all-time leading goal scorer. Tenbrook returns as the top scorer and will look for help up front from Bomba and Lane. Rosenfeld was the 2013 Centennial Player of the Year and leads a veteran backline with Scott in front of a new keeper. The Diplomats' hopes for back-to-back championships rests on finding more offense.

Noah Sheetz-Ziegel

Gettysburg (3-13-1 last season, 3-5-1 CC, 8th place)
Head Coach: Mark Mettrick (Hartwick '88), 1st season at Gettysburg, 21st overall
Team Page | Roster | Schedule | 2013 Statistics | Season Preview (8/25)
All-Time Record: 528-496-102 since 1930
Centennial Titles: 3 (1993-99-2001)

Key Returnees: Noah Sheetz-Ziegel, Jr, F, 3-0-6; Parker Delmolino, Sr, F, 3-0-6; Christian Pyros, Sr, B, 2-0-4; Kyle Franks, Sr, M, 0-2-2.
Key Losses: Tyler Shaffer, M, 2-1-5, 2nd team All-CC; Connor Darrell, GK, 71.3 save%, 1.81 GAA; Devin Geiman, M; Andrew LaFontaine, B; Andrew Bellis, B.
Preseason Poll Projection: 9th
Outlook: A new day dawns on the Battlefield as Mettrick, a two-time Division I Coach of the Year finalist, takes the helm of the Bullets. Sheetz-Ziegel and Delmolino are experienced forwards, while Franks leads the midfield. Pyros is the headliner on the back line, but the goalkeeping job will be won in camp. Gettysburg may be a year away from a return to the postseason but will cause fits for all opponents.

Dorian Wirz

Haverford (11-5-2 last season, 5-2-2 CC, lost to Dickinson in Centennial semifinal, 2-0)
Head Coach: Shane Rineer (Eastern '06), 4th season
Team Page | Roster | Schedule | 2013 Statistics | Season Preview (8/28)
All-Time Record: 773-569-144 since 1901
Centennial Titles: 1 (2012)

Key Returnees: Sam Yarosh, Jr, F, 6-2-14, 1st team All-CC; Dorian Wirz, Soph, M, 1-0-2, HM All-CC, 2013 Rookie of the Year; Tejan Walcott, Soph, F, 5-0-10; Matt Clausen, Soph, F, 3-0-6; Maclyn Willigan, Soph, B; Sam Miller, Soph, GK, 82.2 save%, 0.89 GAA; Brady Seitz, Jr, F, 3-3-9; Colin Seitz, Jr, M, 0-4-4.
Key Losses: Adam Morollo, B, 1st team All-CC; Ford Bohrmann, F, 9-4-22, 2nd team All-CC; Jamie Reingruber, B, 2nd team All-CC; David Robinson, M, 1-4-6; Matt Johnson, B.
Preseason Poll Projection: 2nd
Outlook: The Fords were the top seed in last year's Centennial tournament but were stopped by Dickinson in the semifinals. Haverford returns a host of young talent, headlined by Yarosh, a first-team All-CC pick a year ago, and Wirz, the 2013 Centennial Rookie of the Year. Walcott, Clausen and Brady Seitz can put the ball in the net, while Willigan and Miller can keep it out. The Fords will be in the hunt for their second Centennial title in three years come November.

Samy Ramadane

Johns Hopkins (7-8-3 last season, 4-3-2 CC, lost to Dickinson in Centennial 1st round, 2-1)
Head Coach: Craig Appleby (Charlotte '94), 7th season
Team Page | Roster | Schedule | 2013 Statistics | Season Preview (8/28)
All-Time Record: 624-381-97 since 1935
Centennial Titles: 8 (1996-98-2000-02-04-06-07-09)

Key Returnees: Andrew Park, Jr, B, 0-1-1, 1st team All-CC; Kenny DeStefano, Jr, F, 6-1-13, 2nd team All-CC; Rob Heuler, Sr, M, 2-2-6, 2nd team All-CC; Samy Ramadane, Soph, M, 4-1-9; Kotaro Mitsuhashi, Sr, M, 3-2-8; Kevin Caskey, Jr, B; David Adejunmobi, Soph, B, 1-1-3; Matt Paris, Soph, GK, 75.4 save%, 1.17 GAA.
Key Losses: Danny Reategui, M, 3-1-7; Taylor Woodrum, B; Birin Padam.
Preseason Poll Projection: 5th
Outlook: The Jays were bounced from the Conference tournament in the first round last fall and look to get back to the final four behind a veteran defense, led by Park. Caskey and Adejunmobi comprise a potent back line in front of Paris. Heuler is the headliner at midfield, along with Mitsuhashi and Ramadane, while DeStefano led Hopkins in scoring a year ago. JHU can never be counted out and will be heard from come November.

Shane McCracken

McDaniel (7-7-3 last season, 1-6-2 CC, 10th place)
Head Coach: Steve Corrieri (Wolverhamption University '00), 2nd season
Team Page | Roster | Schedule | 2013 Statistics
All-Time Record: 477-563-104 since 1924
Centennial Titles: 0

Key Returnees: Shane McCracken, Sr, F, 11-3-25, 1st team All-CC; Richard Forka, Sr, B, 1-0-2, HM All-CC; Edgar Escobar, Sr, M, 2-5-9; Raymond Boly, Jr, B, 1-1-3; Jesse Caples, Jr, M, 2-2-6; Braedon Tock, Soph, M, 2-0-4; Andrew Hofmeister, Jr, B, 0-3-3; David Starleper, Jr, B.
Key Losses: Luis Calderon, F, 5-4-14, 2nd team All-CC; Zach Nibbelink, GK, 79.5 save%, 0.86 GAA, 5 ShO, 2nd team All-CC; Alec Weaver, F, 3-1-7; Jim Caulfield, M, 2-3-7.
Preseason Poll Projection: 10th
Outlook: The Green Terror was 6-1-1 in non-Centennial games last fall, but 1-6-2 inside the Conference. McCracken, a first-team All-CC pick, is the headliner on offense. Escobar and Caples combined for 4-7-15 from the midfield a year ago. Forka is the leader of the defense along with Boly, Hofmeister and Starleper. The goalkeeping job will be won in camp. Finding a replacement in goal and another goal scorer could make the difference for McDaniel's playoffs hopes this fall.

Bryan Attanasio

Muhlenberg (10-8-1, 4-4-1 CC, T-6th place)
Head Coach: Sean Topping (Muhlenberg '98), 12th season
Team Page | Roster | Schedule | 2013 Statistics | Season Preview (8/28)
All-Time Record: 580-388-84 since 1943
Centennial Titles: 5 (1994-95-97-2003-05)

Key Returnees: Lance Dotzman, Sr, M, 8-5-21, 2nd team All-CC; Bryan Attanasio, Sr, B, 0-2-2, 2nd team All-CC; Travis Wantchekon, Sr, M, 2-0-4; Joe Roberts, Sr, F, 2-2-6; Ellison Heil, Jr, GK, 75.5 save%, 0.99 GAA.
Key Losses: Jon Schauer, B, 1-0-2, HM All-CC; Jeff Reinhart, F, 2-2-6; Jacob Joseph, M, 1-0-2; Ryan Barlotta, B; Brendan McIntyre, 2-4-8.
Preseason Poll Projection: 6th
Outlook: The Mules have missed out on the Centennial postseason in each of the last two seasons but look to break that streak with the return of four key seniors. Dotzman is the leader of the offense after a breakout year with 8-5-21 on his way to second-team All-CC honors. Wantchekon started 18 matches at midfield, while Attanasio earned second-team All-Centennial honors on the backline. Heil had a strong season between the pipes, including a stretch of four straight shutouts. Muhlenberg is one of the perennial powers in the Conference and will be in the playoff hunt at the end of the season.

Michael Stewart

Swarthmore (12-5-4 last season, 5-2-2 CC, lost to Franklin & Marshall in Centennial semifinal, 2-1)
Head Coach: Eric Wagner (Connecticut College '88), 13th season
Team Page | Roster | Schedule | 2013 Statistics | Season Preview (8/26)
All-Time Record: 517-438-86 since 1917
Centennial Titles: 2 (2008-10)

Key Returnees: Devon Baughen, Jr, F, 5-1-11; David Geschwind, Jr, F, 3-1-7; Michael Stewart, Sr, F, 3-5-11; Wyatt McCall, Jr, M, 3-6-12; Michael Superdock, Sr, B, 5-4-14; Alec McClean, Jr, B, 2-2-6; Billy Evers, Soph, F, 3-2-8;
Key Losses: Jack Momeyer, M, 5-1-11, 1st team All-CC; Peter Maxted, GK, 74.7 save%, 0.95 GAA, 4 ShO, 1st team All-CC; Noah Sterngold, M, 2-3-7, 2nd team All-CC; Jake Weiner, B, 0-5-5, HM All-CC; Joe Keedy, F, 4-2-10; Geli Carabases, B, 0-1-1.
Preseason Poll Projection: 4th
Outlook: The Garnet no longer rebuilds, it reloads. Swarthmore was ousted in the CC semifinals a year ago but welcomes back a host of offensive talent, including top goal scorers Superdock and Baughen. McCall and Stewart tallied a combined 11 assists last fall, while Geschwind and Evers also showed the ability to find the back of the net. McClean is the leader of a defense that registered six shutouts in 2013, but the 'keeper job will be won in camp. A return to the Conference final four is not out of the question but the Garnet wants more in 2014.

Ryan Butler

Ursinus (8-8-1 last season, 4-4-1 CC, T-6th place)
Head Coach: Kyle Rush (Wilkes '02), 8th season
Team Page | Roster | Schedule | 2013 Statistics | Season Preview (8/28)
All-Time Record: 118-239-18 (1993-2013)
Centennial Titles: 0

Key Returnees: Ryan Butler, Jr, F, 10-2-22, 1st team All-CC, 2012 Rookie of the Year; Ryan Molyneaux, Soph, M, 5-6-16; Wyatt Powell, Soph, M, 1-3-5; Dean Dersimonian, Jr, M, 3-1-7; Matt Cioeta, Soph, M, 2-3-7; Chase Crawford, Sr, B; Jesse Hart, Jr, B, 0-1-1; Kyle Dineen, Soph, B; Jared Kimelheim, Soph, B, 0-1-1; Noah Kimelheim, Soph, B, 1-0-2; Ryan Murphy, Sr, GK, 74.7 save%, 1.55 GAA.
Key Losses: Stephen Dalrymple, D; Dave DeWitt, F; John Schoell, D.
Preseason Poll Projection: 7th
Outlook: The Bears are a sleeper team in the Conference for 2014. Ursinus finished at .500 for the first time since 1995 and welcomes back Butler, a first-team All-CC forward, who tallied 10 goals a year ago. Molyneaux had a superb rookie campaign and leads the midfield along with Cioeta and DerSimonian. Crawford and Dineen are the headliners on the back line in front of Murphy. The Bears have never reached the Centennial playoffs. That streak could end in 2014.

Bryan Wilkinson

Washington College (8-8-1 last season, 2-6-1 CC, 9th place)
Head Coach: Roy Dunshee (South Carolina '83), 3rd season
Team Page | Roster | Schedule | 2013 Statistics | Season Preview (8/19)
All-Time Record: 439-450-78 since 1946
Centennial Titles: 0

Key Returnees: Matt Wilfong, Sr, M, 4-2-10; Dimitri Kaliakin, Soph, M, 0-4-4; Jack Butler, Jr, B, 2-0-4; Brian Wilkinson, Soph, F, 7-2-16; Chris Lewandowski, Soph, F, 4-2-10; Drew Thompson, Soph, M, 3-2-8; Sam Draper, Sr, F, 2-1-5; Joseph Fili, Sr, F, 2-1-5; Cole Strong, Soph, B; Bob Libera, Sr, M; David Myers, Jr, GK, 67.3 save%, 1.41 GAA.
Key Losses: Sam Wild, M, 3-1-7; Chris Nardo, M.
Preseason Poll Projection: 8th
Outlook: The Shoremen finished at .500 for the first time since 2006 a year ago and look for even better things this fall. The youth movement in Chestertown looks to pay dividends as Wilkinson and Lewandowski combined for 11-4-26 as rookies and expect more along with Draper in 2014. Wilfong is the headliner at midfielder, while Butler leads a young backline in front of Myers. The Shoremen have never qualified for the Centennial postseason tournament but will be knocking on the door come November.
