Men’s Tennis Player of the Week 4/15/19

Gu went 2-0 in singles and 2-0 in doubles to help Johns Hopkins to a 2-0 week. He won 8-4 at third doubles and then clinched the win over Franklin & Marshall with a 6-2, 6-3 win at first singles. On Saturday against the Garnet, Gu earned an 8-6 win at first doubles over the doubles team ranked 13th in the region. He then rallied to win at second singles. Gu dropped the first set, 6-2, but he responded with a 6-1 win in the second. He then fell behind 4-1 in the third set but rallied to win the set 7-5 and take the match.
