Dickinson Names Aaron Wilf as Head Men's and Women's Tennis Coach

CARLISLE, Pa. – Dickinson College Director of Athletic Joel Quattrone has announced the hiring of Aaron Wilf as the new head coach of both the Men's and Women's Tennis teams. Wilf the 2002 Dickinson graduate returns to Carlisle after spending the last three seasons at Moravian College as their Director of Men's and Women's Tennis.

"We are thrilled to welcome Aaron Wilf back to Dickinson and to direct both our men's and women's tennis programs," Quattrone said. "Aaron has an incredible passion for Wearing the Red and Dickinson College as a whole that was made very evident to all involved during the interview process."

During his time in Bethlehem with the Greyhounds, Wilf compiled a 36-4 mark with the women's program going an unblemished 14-0 inside the competitive Landmark Conference. He also led the Blue and Gray to a pair of conference championships in 2019 and 2021 (2020 cancelled due to COVID) resulting in qualification to the NCAA Division III Tournament. The team was able to win a round in the tourney both seasons as well. He was able to coach ten All-Landmark Conference selections, including the Player of the Year Emma Angle last season. Wilf himself also earned conference recognition during the 2018-2019 campaign as he was named Coach of the Year.

With the men, he amassed a 19-17 overall record to go along with a 5-10 mark in the Landmark. Moravian made one appearance in the Landmark Tournament over his tenure which came last year. He also had one all-conference pick back in the 2018-2019 season.

"I would like to thank Joel Quattrone and the rest of the search committee for bringing me back to Dickinson," Wilf said. "It is pretty surreal for me to think about coming back to Carlisle as the school's first full-time Head Men's and Women's Tennis Coach."

Prior to heading to Moravian, Aaron spent two years as the Head Men's and Women's Tennis Coach at Frostburg State University where he oversaw dramatic improvement within the program which included wins against nationally-ranked opposition. Wilf made sure that his student-athletes excelled not only on the court but in the classroom as well as the Bobcats produced eight ITA scholar-athletes and were honored by the ITA with team awards as well.

"Some of my best memories were at Dickinson and I would love to make sure that my student-athletes continue to have the same great experience" added Wilf. "We are going to work hard to build a solid program and to create the right culture moving forward. I could not be more excited to rejoin the Red Devil nation."

Coach Wilf will officially begin his new position with Dickinson today, January 24, 2022.
