Swarthmore's duo of Michael Melnikov and Utham Koduri advanced to the championship match of the NCAA doubles championship to headline day three singles/doubles action at the USTA National Campus.

In the semifinals, Melnikov and Koduri outlasted Case Western's Diego Maza and Chris Provenzano in three sets, 4-6, 6-4, 7-6 (5). The duo are just the second doubles pair in Centennial history to make it to the championship match, and first since 1994. Washington College's Robin Sander and Damian Polla lost in the championship match, 6-2, 7-6 (4), as the lone doubles championship qualifier from the CC. Melnikov and Koduri will aim to make conference history on Sunday.

JHU's Thomas Yu and James Yu also competed in the NCAA doubles semifinals on Saturday, falling to top-seeded Vishwa Aduru and James Hopper of Case Western. The pair, that just won the NCAA Team Championship four days ago, entered the match riding a 24-match win streak. Aduru and Hopper beat the Yus 6-1, 6-0, to advance to Sunday's national title match.

In singles, Thomas Yu ended his run with a loss in the semifinals. Rishabh Sharda of Tufts, the six seed, earned a spot in national championship with a 6-2, 6-4 win over Yu.
