Men’s Co-Track Athletes of the Week 2/19/18
Andre Kelly, So, Ursinus

Kelly picked up two first-place finishes at the Keogh Invitational on Saturday. He won the 400-meter dash and ran the last leg of the 4x200-meter relay team, joining senior Jequan Mitchell, sophomore Codi Yhap, and sophomore Austin Bittenbender for a Centennial-Conference leading 1:33.31. That time is just under a second off the indoor school record established in 2007. Kelly's 51.53 in the 400 is good for fourth on the conference performance list.

Liam Lynch paced the 800 meter field with a time of 1:57.26 at the Keogh Invitational, claiming the Fords only individual event title of the afternoon before also anchoring the 4x400 meter relay squad that captured the event title in 3:30.67.

Gearinger rewrote the Haverford all-time Top 10 lists for the third consecutive week, posting the 16th-best Mile time in NCAA Division III this season (4:11.65). The time is the 10th best in Haverford program history. 

 

Men’s Track Athlete of the Week 2/5/18

Dylan Gearinger followed his dominating 3,000 meter mark at last week's Seamus McElligott Invitational by winning the 5,000 meter race at Tufts with a time of 14:29.56. The mark is the fifth fastest individual mark in Haverford indoor history.After a conversion for track size, Gearinger recorded the second fastest 5,000 meter time in Division III this season.

 

Men’s Track Athlete of the Week 1/29/18

Gearinger paced a blazing fast 3,000 meter field at the Seamus McElligott Invitational with a time of 8:21.73. For NCAA qualifying purposes, the mark is noted as the fastest in NCAA Division III so far this season and is the fifth best mark in the illustrious history of the Haverford program.

 

 

Men’s Indoor Track Athletes of the Week 1/22/18

Distance Medley 'A' Team, Johns Hopkins

The JHU distance medley team of Ted Oh, Zach Shelley, Jack Armand, and Scott Pourshalchi won the event at the Terrapin Invitational with a time of 10:19.89. Hopkins finished third out of 16 teams. 

 

Men’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week 1/15/18

Greg Morgan, Jr., Haverford
Hollidaysburg, Pa / Episcopal

Morgan won the mile at the Coach I Invitational with a time of 4:18.91, a mark that ranks as the fourth best Division III mile so far this season for NCAA qualifying purposes.

 

MEN’S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK 12/11/17

Lynch won the 800 meter event title at the Haverford Holiday Invitational in a time of 1:57.27.

 

MEN'S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK 12/4/17

Ted Oh, So, Johns Hopkins
Wilmette, Ill./New Trier

Oh took home first place in the 3,000-meter race at the Diplomat open this weekend with a time of 8:51.67 which set a new personal record for the sophomore.
