Canedy, Su Earn All-America Honors

Johns Hopkins' Justin Canedy and Matthew Su earned All-America honors to highlight day one of the NCAA Men's Indoor Track & Field Championship on Friday in Boston, Mass. 

Canedy placed fifth in the high jump with a mark of 2.06 meters, which ranks second in Centennial Conference history. The freshman also enters Saturday's competition in second place in the heptathlon with 3,101 total points and trails leader Wil Daniels by 101 points.

Su earned a seventh-place finish in the long jump with a mark 7.04m for his second career All-America honor.

Haverford's Greg Morgan qualified for the 3000-meter finals with a time of 8:22.36, placing him third in the preliminaries. JHU's Alex Doran placed 19th at 8:43.39. The 3000 finals are set for Saturday at 4:55 p.m.
