Centennial Conference Championship Photo Gallery
LANCASTER, Pa. -- Haverford's Jamie Moreland, Johns Hopkins' Justin Canedy and Dickinson's Cole Boback collected major awards to lead the 2020 All-Centennial Men's Indoor Track & Field Team. Ursinus head coach Carl Blickle was also named Coach of the Year in voting amongst his peers.
Moreland earned Outstanding Track Performer honors after winning a pair of golds at the championship meet. He crossed first in the mile, led off the first-place distance medley relay for the Fords and also placed third in the 800 meters. The sophomore becomes the third straight and eighth overall Haverford runner to claim Outstanding Track Performer accolades.
Canedy pieced together a dominant championship, unanimously earning Outstanding Field Performer honors after becoming the first athlete in conference history to win four individual events. The sophomore won the high jump, long jump, 60-meter dash and 60 hurdles to help lead the Blue Jays to the team title. Canedy is the fourth Blue Jay to win top field performer laurels.
Boback was honored as the Outstanding Rookie of the meet with a pair of victories in the 200 and 400-meter dash. He also contributed to second-place 4x200 relay and fourth-place 4x400 relay squads for the Red Devils. He is the second Dickinson athlete to receive Outstanding Rookie honors.
Blickle was selected as Coach of the Year after leading the Bears to their first runner-up finish at the championships since 2011. The Bears set a program record with 139 team points.
