LANCASTER, Pa. -- Johns Hopkins' Jared Pangallozzi and Haverford's Ryan Kredell earned top awards to lead the 2019 All-Centennial Men's Cross Country Team. JHU head coach Bobby Van Allen was also named Coach of the Year after guiding the Blue Jays to their second overall title and first since 2013.

Pangallozzi earned Runner of the Year honors after winning the individual title with a time of 25:04.7, nearly 17 seconds faster than the second-place finisher. The junior becomes the first-ever individual champion for Johns Hopkins, and collects All-Centennial First Team accolades for the second-straight year and all-conference honors for the third year in a row (second team in 2017).

Kredell secured Rookie of the Year honors as the top first-year finisher at the championships. The Fords' freshman standout placed ninth to also claim second team all-conference laurels. Kredell is the third Haverford runner to earn Rookie of the Year in the eight-year history of the award.

Van Allen was selected by his peers as Coach of the Year for the second time in the 12-year history of the award. His other Coach of the Year award came in 2013, when the Blue Jays last won the CC team title.

Johns Hopkins dominated the first-team list after collecting five of the top seven spots for the first perfect score in Centennial history. Repeat All-Centennial performers for JHU included Connor Delahanty and Andrew King, while P.J. Murray and Patrick Dye also grabbed spots on the first team for the Blue Jays, securing the first All-CC awards of their careers.

Other runners who have now claimed all-conference awards multiple times throughout their careers include Dickinson's Bryce Descavish, Haverford's Sam McCalpin and Muhlenberg's Jason Richwall. Descavish collected the third All-Centennial honor of his career, while McCalpin and Richwall nabbed all-conference honors for the second time.

Gettysburg's Sam Sheldon earned first team accolades for the Bullets, while Dickinson's Christopher Scharf and the Johns Hopkins trio of Declan Hines, Sean Laidlaw and Vipul Bhat were second-team award winners.
