LANCASTER, Pa. -- Dickinson's Christopher Scharf and Johns Hopkins' Tommy Li earned major awards to headline the 2021 All-Centennial Men's Cross Country Team. Haverford head coach Tom Donnelly was also selected as Coach of the Year after leading the Fords to the team title.

Scharf ran to the individual title at last Saturday's championship to secure Runner of the Year honors. The Red Devil senior crossed the line in 25:22.0 to win by 10 seconds and become the fourth Dickinson runner to claim the conference's top award. Scharf earned the second All-Centennial honor of his career, as he was a second-team performer in 2019.

Li won Rookie of the Year as the top newcomer at the championship event. The JHU freshman finished sixth overall and becomes the fifth Blue Jay to collect the award since it was instituted in 2012. Li's sixth-place finish also earned him a spot on the all-conference first team, making him just the sixth freshman in conference history to secure that honor.

Donnnelly was unanimously selected by his fellow coaches as Coach of the Year for the ninth time in its 13-year history. He has now received the honor nine out of the last 11 years.

Haverford's Ryan Kredell repeated on the All-Centennial team after posting a runner-up finish to lead the Fords to the team crown. A second-teamer and Rookie of the Year in 2019, Kredell joins Scharf as the only two repeat all-stars on this year's squad. Max Brelig also earned first-team honors for Haverford after finishing fifth, while Peter Buckley, Jamie Moreland, and Nico Tripeny each landed on the second team for the Fords.

JHU's Matthew Kleiman finished third to join Li on the first team, with Gavin McElhennon and Charlie Teeter collecting second-team laurels for the Blue Jays.

Christopher Scharf was accompanied on the first team by twin brother Charles Scharf, who secured the final spot on the All-Centennial first team with his seventh-place finish.

Swarthmore was represented on the all-conference team by Aidan Cantine (first team) and Atticus Hempel (second team).
