Julia Blake did a little bit of everything during the Fords' first two victories of the 2019 season. The senior captain went 4-for-7 in the doubleheader with three runs scored and two RBI. She led off the game against UMass Boston with a home run while also swiping two bases against Plymouth State.

Bridgers was 4-0 with a save and a 0.24 ERA in five appearances for the Mules. She threw complete games in all four of her starts, including back-to-back one-hitters against Bridgewater and Mass.-Dartmouth. Bridgers struck out 10 in a three-hitter against nationally ranked Rhodes and 12 in a shutout of Mass.-Dartmouth. She also fanned eight in a shutout of Otterbein. Bridgers struck out 37 and allowed only 12 hits in 29 innings, holding opponents to a .112 batting average.
