For the first time ever, the Centennial Conference softball tournament will run through Swarthmore as the Garnet capped off a 15-1 regular season with a sweep of Dickinson on Saturday.
Swarthmore (26-4, 15-1 CC) earned the top seed in upcoming CC Tournament and will host a first round contest Tuesday vs. No. 4 Gettysburg and the remainder of the tournament on Friday-Saturday in Swarthmore. The Bullets (18-16, 9-7 CC) made their way into the CC postseason with a sweep over Haverford on Saturday to clinch the final playoff spot.
Tuesday's other first round contest will feature No. 3 McDaniel (18-21, 10-6 CC) at No. 2 Muhlenberg (19-19, 10-6 CC). The Mules claimed the No. 2 seed with a sweep of Washington College on Saturday, while McDaniel split with Ursinus to nab third place in the regular season.
Following Tuesday's first round, the remainder of the double elimination tournament with shift to Swarthmore for Friday and Saturday.
