Around the Conference
Bryn Mawr
Freshman Nicolette Parmese (Levittown, NY / Division) finished with 333 points on the season - the most by an Owl first-year player since Amy Johnson '07 tallied 362 in 2004. She led all Centennial rookies with 14.5 scoring average – good for sixth overall in the Conference.
Dickinson
Senior Alesha Sisco (Effort, PA / Blair Academy, NJ) closed her career ranked seventh on the program's all-time scoring list with 1,275 points and is second in career free throw percentage (78.5).
Franklin & Marshall
Sophomore Alexa Barbush (Etters, PA / Trinity) led the Conference in steals with 105, while sophomore Elizabeth Snyder (Cranford, NJ / Cranford) was one of three CC players to shoot better than 40 percent from three-point land (40.8).
Gettysburg
Senior Caitlin Moser (Wyomissing, PA / Wyomissing) closed her career in the school's top 10 in scoring (1,556, 2nd) and rebounding (758, 9th). Her 48.6 shooting percentage from the field is sixth on the program's career list.
Haverford
The Fords registered their second-highest win total in team history (10) and the most Centennial victories (7) in the history of the Conference. Sophomore Nina Voith (Philadelphia, PA / Germantown Friends) has 830 points in her first two seasons – the sixth-best total by a Centennial player.
Johns Hopkins
The Blue Jays reached the second round of the NCAA tournament before being ousted by national semifinalist Christopher Newport. The win against Richard Stockton was Hopkins' first NCAA win since 2004. Senior Lyndsay Burton (Long Valley, NJ / West Morris Central) - the 2011 CC Player of the Year – poured in a career-high 31 points vs. the Ospreys. She also had her 27th career double-double with 14 points and 10 boards vs. CNU. Burton is the first JHU player to lead the CC in field goal percentage (52.5) since 2003.
McDaniel
The Terror's streak of eight straight Centennial tournament appearances came to an end in 2011. Senior Cara Thompson (Hagerstown, MD / North Hagerstown) led the team in scoring (12.1), while classmate Whitney Snoops (Millersville, MD / Archbishop Spalding) tops the carom list (8.3).
Muhlenberg
The Mules reached the Sweet 16 for the second time in three seasons before being eliminated by eventual national champion Amherst. Muhlenberg ousted Williams in the first round on a three-pointer by junior Alexandra Chili (Rockville, MD / Walter Johnson) with :01 remaining. The next night, 'Berg stormed back from a 17-point halftime deficit to down Rochester. Seniors Sheila Cook (Rockville Centre, NY / Kellenberg Memorial) and Kelly McKeon (Watertown, CT / Holy Cross) ended their careers as the first class to record at least 20 wins in each of their four seasons. Chili is the first Mule to lead the Centennial in scoring (18.8).
Swarthmore
Senior Kathryn Stockbower (Fort Washington, PA / Upper Dublin) was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-America first team. A double major in biology and German studies, she closed her career as the Conference's fifth-leading scorer (1,677) and second-leading rebounder (1,335). Stockbower is one of just three Centennial players with 1,500 career points and 1,000 career rebounds. She is also the first player to lead the Conference in rebounding all four years.
Ursinus
Freshman Diamond Lewis (East Windsor, NJ / Stuart Country Day) was tops among Conference rookies and second overall in assist-turnover margin (1.64).
Washington College
The Shorewomen finished with a 12-13 overall record, matching their highest win total of the past dozen years. The 10-10 CC record marks Washington's first .500 or better Conference season since 1999. Junior Meghan Tait (Oxford, PA / Oxford) led the Centennial in assists (5.28).
