Women’s Basketball Player of the Week 11/19/18

Dorshimer averaged 24.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 3.3 assists as the 19th-ranked Bullets opened 2-1. She posted a team-high 16 points in a close 74-69 setback to No. 11 Messiah before dropping 21 and 37 against Juniata and Lebanon Valley, respectively, in the Rinso Marquette Tip-off Tournament. Dorshimer poured in 17 points in the third quarter of the championship game against the host Dutchmen and was named tourney MVP. She finished 14-of-20 from the floor and her scoring output tied the best total by a Bullet in 34 years and was just six shy of the program record. Dorshimer also became just the seventh Gettysburg player to reach 1,300 career points.
