INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- After winning the Centennial Conference championship earlier this season, the Marymount University women's golf is officially headed to the NCAA Division III Championships from May 11-14 at Forest Akers Golf Courses (West Course) in Lansing, Michigan. Olivet College and the Greater Lansing Sports Authority will serve as hosts.

How We Got Here
The Saints earned a berth in the big dance after claiming the Centennial championship for the first time in program history. MU won the trophy by 85 strokes with a team score of 722 (+162). Junior Isabel Trojillo claimed THE individual titles at the CC championship.
First Time Feeling
Marymount's win at the Centennial Championship marked a pair of firsts for the program. Not only was it the Saints' first Centennial title, but the win also sealed their spot at the NCAA championships. By claiming the title, MU earned an automatic qualification to the tournament as one of 21 conference winners.
About the Championships
The field at the NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championships will consist of 25 teams and six individuals. 21 of the teams featured in the tournament earned automatic qualification through their respective conferences, while four earned at-large bids. In total, 131 golfers will hit the course at the Forest Akers West Course, home of the Michigan State University Spartans.
