All Nine Centennial NCAA Qualifiers Earn NWCA All-America Awards

NWCA Division III All-America Teams

MANHEIM, Pa. -- All nine Centennial Conference wrestlers who qualified for the NCAA Division III Wrestling Championships have been named to the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) All-America Team.

Each year the NWCA recognizes the outstanding work of the DIII Student-athletes by naming the All-Americans based on their achievements in the national championship, however, this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic the championships were canceled. All-America honors were based on each wrestler’s overall body of work through the regional tournaments and up to the national championships.

Two CC wrestlers earned sports on both the first and second teams, while the remaining five collected third team honors. Washington and Lee's Ryan Luth (157) and Muhlenberg's Luca Colestock (197) secured first team honors, while Johns Hopkins' Dominick Reyes (165) and Merchant Marine's Josh Glantzman (184) received second team laurels.

The five wrestlers to receive third team awards included Muhlenberg's Austin Sherman (149), Washington and Lee's Shane Conners (165), Merchant Marine's Dominick Esposito (174), Washington and Lee's Rexx Hallyburton (184), and Muhlenberg's Jimmy Fratantoni (184).
