Centennial Conference Women's Soccer Players of the Week

Sept. 23-29

Offensive Player of the Week
Erika Muskus, So., F, Gettysburg
Scotch Plains, N.J. | Scotch Plains Fanwood
Muskus scored three of Gettysburg's four goals last week, including both game-winners, to help the Bullets remain unbeaten. She tallied the lone goal in Gettysburg's 1-0 victory at McDaniel before recording two goals and an assist against Ursinus, marking the second time she's notched five points in one game this season. The sophomore forward is second in the conference in points (18), tied for second in assists (four), and tied for third in goals (seven).

Annalie Buscarino, Jr., GK, Washington College
Centereach, N.Y. | Centereach
Buscarino made eight saves in a scoreless draw with fifth-ranked Johns Hopkins on Saturday night, helping Washington College women's soccer secure its first-ever result against a nationally-ranked team. Buscarino made her biggest save of the match with 9:45 remaining in the second half as she stopped a point-blank shot by the Blue Jays' Rachel Jackson to preserve the shutout. The shutout ended three long streaks for Hopkins, a 68-match scoring streak in Centennial regular season contests, an 82-contest streak with at least one goal in conference regular season and tournament matches, and a 21-match winning streak in CC regular season tilts as the Blue Jays had not been blanked in CC play since 2012. It was also the first time WC got a result against Johns Hopkins in 21 all-time meetings.
