CARLISLE, Pa. -- Second-seeded Johns Hopkins scored a pair of first-half goals on free kicks to defeat Dickinson 2-0 in the Centennial Conference Women's Soccer Championship on Sunday at Miller Memorial Stadium. This marks JHU's 14th conference crown and first since 2016.

The victory gives the Blue Jays (14-2-4) the CC's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament, while the Red Devils (14-2-4) must now wait for NCAA selections to be announced Monday at 1 p.m. to learn their postseason fate.

JHU got on the board in the 24th minute, as Riley O'Toole drew a foul inside the box and Emily Maheras slotted a penalty kick. Maggie Coulson made it 2-0 Hopkins in the 35th minute as she buried a free kick from just outside the box into the bottom left corner of the net.

Maheras was named Tournament MVP after tallying a goal in each game.
