Second-seeded McDaniel and fifth-seeded Franklin & Marshall notched shutout victories in the Centennial Conference women's soccer semifinals on Friday. McDaniel blanked third-seeded Swarthmore 3-0, while F&M upended top-seeded Johns Hopkins 1-0.

With the wins, the Green Terror (17-1) and Diplomats (13-3-2) will meet in Sunday's championship game at 3 p.m., hosted by Johns Hopkins at Homewood Field in Baltimore, Md. It will mark the first time the two sides will meet for the CC title, as it will be the second title-game appearance for McDaniel and first ever for F&M.

WESTMINSTER, Md. -- Second-seeded McDaniel struck early and never looked back in a 3-0 victory over third-seeded Swarthmore in one of the two Centennial Conference (CC) semifinals.

Hannah Schepers broke the career goal-scoring record for the Green Terror in the contest, scoring twice on the afternoon. She also had an assist to contribute in all three tallies.  Isabela Soares scored the first goal of the game for McDaniel in the third minute off an assist from Schepers. With the victory, the Green Terror advanced to its second CC championship game after also playing in the 2016 title game.

BALTIMORE, Md. --  Sierra Brophy's 23rd-minute goal launched Franklin & Marshall into its first ever Centennial Conference (CC) Championship in a stunning 1-0 victory over second-ranked Johns Hopkins on Friday evening. The fifth-seeded Diplomats (13-3-2, 5-3-2 CC) handed the top-seeded Blue Jays (14-1-2, 10-0 CC) their first loss and shutout of the season in the victory.

The Diplomats' eighth shot was a clinical finish from Brophy for the eventual game winner. Meg O'Callahan's feed to Sarah Marsan allowed the defender-turned-midfielder to put one on net. Her attempt was deflected, and was collected by Brophy. A deft touch to her left foot beat a diving keeper for the 1-0 lead in the 23rd minute.
